The architecture

An integral part of the MobiAccess framework is a central server that stores all the necessary databases and mobile client configurations. This server is accessible through various data communication networks. The MobiAccess system is managed centrally by a module called MobiVision Desktop.

The management tasks include:

• client and user account management;
• access and modification rights management;
• server-client synchronization.

The communication and data synchronization features are implemented both in the server (MobiSync Server) and in the client side applications. Each supported mobile platform has its own synchronization module that implements the mutual communication protocol with the server. The mobile database can be edited and manipulated through the MobiVision application running on the client side.
